The main purpose of this process is to loosen the diaphragm of a newly crafted piston/earphone. The sound quality will be noticeably improved after Burn In, say most audiophiles.
There will be a minute of silence in between each hour for a rest period.
Here are the steps to have a Perfect Cooked Headphone / Earphone.
1. Right after you unpack the New Earphone, play some music at medium volume for 3-4 hours to warm up your earphone. You may skip Step 1 if your headphone is not brand new
2. Before you go to bed at night, connect your earphone/piston to your computer, remove them from your ear, and turn the volume to medium level at 40%-75%. Start playing the Burn In audio continuously for 6-8 hours per day as the schedule below.…...more
